Instructor

Katy Noftall has been dancing since the age of three, and is grateful to share her passion for this beautiful art form through teaching. She was born and raised in Newfoundland where she taught at The Dance Centre for fifteen years before moving to Ottawa in 2019. Katy is an Associate Diploma Member of Cecchetti Canada (Cecchetti International Classical Ballet) and an Acrobatic Arts (Module One) certified teacher. She also has extensive training in Contemporary, Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Tap. Katy provides quality dance education for her students and continues to attend workshops and trainings every year. Most recently, she completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training. Katy is co-founder and co-artistic director of Mosaic Dance Company based in Newfoundland. She has a Bachelor of Arts from Memorial University, is an avid yogi and loves to travel! Katy is excited to be a part of the Capital City Dance faculty again this season!
